A day in the life

• Manage materials at each location or designated job sites to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.
• unload incoming materials from trucks and organize inventory.
• Pick material for subcontractors and deliver them as needed and load subcontractors with materials when necessary.
• Maintain warehouse vehicles, including checking fire extinguishers, maintaining driver's logs, and ensuring cleanliness.
• maintain organization and cleanliness of pole yards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Forklift Certification (on-site training provided)
• Preferred: one year of warehouse experience, current and valid Commercial Driver's License for interstate commerce, and DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Perform moderately complex mathematical calculations
• Organize and maintain vendor and supplier catalogs and literature.
• Adhere to safety rules.
• Understand product lines.
• Understand cooperative material management policies and guidelines.
• know proper load tie-down techniques to ensure proper and safe transportation.

The pay rate is $20.49 per hour without a CDL and $25.04 per hour with a valid CDL. This is a non-exempt (hourly), bargaining unit, onsite temporary 1,000-hour position at our Braham, MN, Operations South Center.
